Abstract
Within KTH Energy Technology's masters course Energy Management (MJ2410), approx. 100 students have created sustainable energy system proposals for the Chinese town Meili, near Shanghai, to be completed by 2040. Sixteen teams were competing for the opportunity to travel to China and pitch their ideas for the local stakeholders in Meili.
The top five groups already presented their proposals at KTH at presence of the scientific counselor of Embassy of People's Republic of China in Sweden. The winning group has been given the chance to travel to China and deliver their results to local stakeholders including SJTU, the academic partner of KTH. The seminar will be of interest to anyone from academia, business, government, or anyone involved with sustainable cities and innovation.
